It was a beautiful crisp Saturday morning and the #VLTCRunningTeam was ready to participate in the 2nd Annual Home is Where the Heart Is 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, Feb. 11th hosted by McAllen Housing Authority and Affordable Homes of South Texas. The monies raised will continue educational opportunities, job training programs, scholarships for housing residents pursuing a higher education and career advancement.
